April 22, 2023
Time: 9:30 AM
Presenter: David Longfellow
My father gave me my first camera when I was a boy, and I've been interested in photography ever since. My interest in photographing wildflowers began when I lived in Texas, and I admired the spring flowers in the Hill Country around Austin. Now I have images of nearly 900 species of wildflowers in my Lightroom catalog. I'm always on the lookout for a flower that I haven't yet photographed. In addition to nature and landscape photography, I've become increasingly involved in other types of photography, from events to portraits to architecture. I read a good bit about the history of photography, especially mid-20th-century masters of B&W images.

Dave will walk through the steps to focus stack images, from what to do in the field using focus-stacking software and post-processing.
